Welcome to Wirringa Baiya

Wirringa Baiya is situated on the land of the Cadigal-Wangal people, within the Eora Nation.
We acknowledge that they are the traditional custodians of the land on which we work; and pay our respects to our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders both past and present.

Wirringa Baiya is a state-wide community legal centre for Aboriginal women, children and youth. Wirringa Baiya focuses on issues relating to violence.

Although our service is available to both Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women, children and young people, close to 99% of our clients are Aboriginal. For this reason, throughout this website we will refer to the issues and needs of Aboriginal people and their communities.

Our service is free and confidential.

If you would like to get involved with Wirringa Baiya, our volunteer and donate sections will tell you ways you can do this.
